Senior Session- Sam

Okay, so I have to just say it: Sam's grown up. Not that long ago, I was hanging out here in CT with his big sister and laughing at his little kid antics. Like smiling at the fact that his outfit of choice always involved sweat pants. Or that he loved all things 'boy' -- tractors, trucks, lawn mowers, anything with an engine. Last I knew, his Mom was lecturing him: "Clean your room and finish your homework!"

As I was taking his senior pictures, I couldn't help but remember those times when he was Dee's pesky little brother whom we loved to ignore. It seems that when there's a lens in front of my eyes, all my senses are heightened and I remember things both humorous and sentimental. Such was the case in Illinois. How time and location have changed things for Sam and his family. --But the whole 'clean your room' thing? Well, some things never change. :)

Love ya', Samuel John! All the best as you start your Senior year! (Oh! One more thing: do me a favor and don't end up in our last shooting location, okay? :)

"Then, without realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start of each new day; of course, you achieve quite a lot in the course of time. Anyone can do this, it costs nothing and is certainly very helpful. Whoever doesn't know it must learn and find by experience that a quiet conscience makes one strong."
